Postcards - Free CGI and Perl Scripts

These free CGI and Perl scripts allow visitors to your website to send postcards or greeting cards to their friends.

Postcard Direct

Postcard Direct is different to all other postcard systems because it sends the postcard directly to the recipient. That means there is no database to maintain and no postcards to "pick up".
Note that Postcard Direct supports the "traditional" mode if you want to use the store/pickup method. For flash and java cards, this is the most reliable method as there are too many restrictions and incompatibilities in email clients to support these types.
Requirements: Perl
Version: 6.0.8

CARD.CGI - Virtual Greeting Card Script

This script allows you to provide a Virtual Greeting Card service to your site's visitors. It is a rather simple concept. The goal is to allow a user to create a small HTML file and e-mail a recipient the URL with as little input as possible. The created files are named along the lines of: nov11-12345 where nov11 is November 11th, and 12345 is the last 5 digits of the unix system time.
Requirements: Perl
Version: N/A
