NX5poll

The NX5poll script is a simple way to get an opinion from your site visitors. Do they like your new product? Now you can find out. It's not hard from them to do and it's not hard for you to install. The visitor simply selects the option they wish to vote for and click on submit. Then the results are gathered and they are taken back to the original page. A cookie is then set which prevents the visitor from voting twice and also tells the script to display the results. The results are in the form of a percentage-based bar graph.

Voting Booth

This script will allow you to have multiple polls on one page and show the results in the form of a coloured bar with percentage on the same page your visitors use to vote. You can have any number of answers for each poll and IP logging means that no-one can vote more than once in any 24 hour period for each poll. It's quite simple to set up and is fully customisable to suit your website. Examples are included.

IpDetecting Poll

IpDetecting Poll is a poll with 4 choices and it denies multiple votes thanks to the detecting of ip number. It uses text files. Each time someone votes, the script checks if the IP number is in the list of IP number of people that have already voted.

PhotoRate

PhotoRate allows you to create your own image voting website. Visitors to your site can rate images on a scale of 1 to 5, and voting results are displayed on the page. Visitors can also upload their own photos, and leave their email, AIM, Yahoo, ICQ and homepage information as well. When a visitor first visits the index page, the last photo submitted is displayed. After casting a vote, the visitor is taken through all the photos in the order they were submitted, starting with the last submitted photo, ending with the first submitted photo. When the end of the archive is reached, a message is displayed and a link is given that takes them back to the beginning. PhotoRate's main page uses a template to display each picture, the vote options, and the vote results. This template, template.html,. can easily be edited with an HTML editor to be changed to your liking. Optionally, you can use this same method for redesigning the Add Photo page (new.php), since this page was designed as simple and plain as possible.)

Poll and Voting Script

With this script you can provide votes and polls on your website. Your visitors select one option and click the submit button to vote. The options can be displayed as radio buttons with text or images aside and as select menus. The results will be displayed as graphical bars. To prevent manipulations the script uses the IP address of the user and/or Cookies. That is to make sure, every visitor votes only once. Please note that these two features can only try to prevent fraudulent votes.
